JSC “SRI Atmosphere” was formed on the 13-th of July 2009 in accordance with the order of the RF Government ¹ 543-p of 29.04.2007 and is a full assign of the FSUE “SRI Atmosphere”.
JSC “Scientific Research Institute for Atmospheric Air Protection” is:

the leading institute in the ROSTEKHNADZOR system (Russian Federal Service for Ecological,
Technical and Atomic Supervision) responsible for atmospheric air protection

the methodological centre in the field of atmospheric air protection within the Russian Federation

the coordinator of the work related to the execution by the Russian Federation of the appropriate
international obligations in accordance with the Conventions concerning atmospheric air protection

the certification authorities for the enterprises, technologies, production and environmental management systems

the base institution carrying out the expertise of the experimental and calculation techniques related
to the metrological assurance and standartization
